Happy 12-12-12

Wishing everyone a happy day on this 12-12-12. ^_^
I love celebrations and this is definitely a day to celebrate.
I still remember I used to wish that I can get married either on 8-8-8, 9-9-9 or 10-10-10, but that was just a wish. I still believe, maybe someday, I will be living happily ever after with someone I love.

I wish everyone happiness and filled with joy.

Special day, trying out new food. My friend bring me to this restaurant called Journey2Life, where they served vegetarian meals. I tried the J2L Hor Fun with gravy and veges. We also ordered Cheesy Ball, and trust me, it's super delicious for a cheese lover like me. (too bad I forgot to take photos of it).

After work, tapao Dominos and was planning to view the sunset by the beach. Mana tau, something unfortunate happen. When paying for the pizza, my phone slipped from my hand, and landed on the floor. Omg... I thought nothing happen because the screen didn't crack. But when I view the screen, the display became haywire. Everything was a mess, there were lines of colours on the screen and I can hardly see what is displayed. So I quickly go to Bukit Jambul to get my screen repaired.

The first shop I go was Digi. It was a stupid thing to do as I believe they don't repair phones, but somehow I proceed and ask whether do they repair phones. The guy replied Yes and told me the cost is RM300. And he said I need to leave my phone overnight. I was reluctant as I need my phone today, so I told him I'll consider first and I went up to the 1st floor. The first shop I see was a repairing handphone shop. I went in and asked. The guy told me to change the screen cost RM270, which I try to get discount and he gives me the final price of RM260.

I remembered that I was waiting for my friend to call me when he reach, but because the guy told me it was a quick fix, I allow them to do so. While waiting, somehow, my friend manage to find me in the shop and we waited for the guy to repair my phone. Imagine, this piece of LCD screen cost RM260. The guy mentioned that luckily I'm not using Samsung SIII, else replacing the Samsung SIII screen cost RM500++. @.@.

Due to the sun has already went back home, we change our plan to go somewhere and have our dinner instead. So we decided to go Straits Quay. Eating and drinking Chatime. ^_^. Not to forget to take a photo with this Christmas tree, the first time I see this tree was back in year 2010, 2 years back. Still standing tall. =P

Next agenda, movie time. It is Wednesday, so definitely going for a movie. ^_^
We went to TGV, 1st Avenue for The Life of Pi.

It was 12am when the movie ended. So quickly go back home and have a good rest.
That's how I celebrated this special day ^_^.

CNY Eat Play Sleep

Chinese New Year, a festive season to celebrate by all Chinese. It feels great to have a long holiday and eat, play, sleep as much as you like. Hehe...  It is also the time to go around visiting relatives and collect Ang pows.

Ang pows are monetary gift which are given during Chinese New Year. I believe they symbolizes for luck and prosperity. As year goes by, ang pow collection are getting lesser.

And the usual "When are you getting married?" questions will popped up by relatives

Mmm... usual answer will be:

• Wait till I am ready
• Haven found the right one
• Let other cousin goes first

It's the 3rd day of CNY and some may have already started working. As for me, I'm taking another 2 days off for me to eat eat play play and sleep sleep.

I just got back from Queensbay watching "Journey 2" in 3D. It's a story about an adventure of finding the mysterious island and his grandfather. Overall, I love the 3D effect and it's adventure. Hehehe...

I'm going off to another CNY gathering soon. Wish I had more time to go around visiting all my friends and family.

First week of 2012

First brunch - Toasted bread with chicken floss and extra cheese

First week of the year, started the first Monday with a sumptuous dinner @ Tao Cuisine, Egate with friends, known as ASKS gang. My friend Banana Chew came up with this group name for us, taking inspiration from F.I.R. band. As 3 of us used to hang out like buddies, we can form a team of ASK. If take out the K and replace with S, it will be left with ASS. Is kinda funny how creative Ah Chew can be.

After resting for about a month, I'm back to jogging and exercise again, 2 times this week. ^_^

A good start for the year. Hopefully I can shed a bit of chubby fat from my face and reduce some kgs, currently still weighing at 55kg.

Good news for the year, my llm delivered her baby boy, Luke Yam and he weighs 2.7kg. Both mummy and baby are safe and healthy.

Met up with my bestie Hooi Peng for dinner and had our gift exchange session. I gave her Cupido and she gave me a pinky basket which I can use to put my cosmetics stuff. Thanks HP.

Forgiveness is when you can let go of the anger and hope for good things for that person.
